Argentine Open – Day 1

On Saturday 1/11, the top world competition of our sport began at the Argentine Polo Field: the 132nd Argentine Polo Open Galicia presented by Visa, which this time is starred by the 10 best teams in the world, which boast between 31 and 40 goals of valorization, who were placed in two zones of five that face the American, with a final among the best in each group.

In the opening match of the tournament, played on field 2 and in Zone A, UAE Polo, finalist of the 132nd Hurlingham Club Open, beat La Zeta Kazak, one of the teams from the classification, by a tight 13 to 12, which had Facu Llosa as a starter in place of the injured Beltrán Laulhé. In this way, the winning team was awarded the Central Military Hospital Cooperative Cup.

Second Game

With a golden goal by debutant Paco de Narváez 23 seconds into the extra chukker, Sol de Agosto beat Los Machitos El Refugio 16-15 on Saturday 1/11 at the end of date 1 of the 132nd Argentine Polo Galicia Open presented by Visa.

In this way, in addition to starting the tournament in an excellent way, the team made up of Facu Sola, Paco, Benja Panelo and Juanma Zubía won the Omint Cup that was at stake in the match.
