AUDI  ACHIEVES A SPECTACULAR WIN AT THE ROYAL MILITARY ACCADEMY, SANDHURST

More than 13,000 spectators turned up to witness the Audi team’s win against Demerara Polo Team from Guayana in the 12 goal Exhibition Polo Match at the recent Heritage Open Day at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.


The annual open day allows visitors the opportunity to explore the heritage and architecture synonymous with Sandhurst, giving  an insight to life inside the iconic military academy.


During the course of the day, there were two polo games – one of which was supported by Camberley Audi.  The Audi team was made up of Young England players: Ed Morris-Lowe, Lanto Sheridan, George Meyrick and Richard Le Poer.  It was a fast paced match, thrilling the crowd.  Ultimately Audi was triumphant, winning 5 – 4.


Additionally, The Radcliffe Cup – featured the Officer Cadets and the Hackett Army Novice Team.  It was a tense match but Hackett, who took the early lead, was victorious with a 3 – 1 ½  win.


One of the other star attractions was the Audi RS3 Sportback – the latest Audi RS model and the ultimate incarnation of the A3, which was on show in the UK for the first time.
