CBC and LAS MONJITAS SCORED DEBUT WINS AT THE JULIO NOVILLO ASTRADA CUP X EDITION, PRESENTED BY JAEGER-LeCOULTRE
ICBC and Las Monjitas scored debut wins on the first day of competition at the Julio Novillo Astrada Cup X Edition, Presented by Jaeger-LeCoultre, that takes place at the Novillo Astrada family’s club, La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina.
ICBC took a narrow 10-9 win over Irongate, in extra chukker, with a golden goal scored by Juan Pedro Harriet. Next, Las Monjitas defeated La Picaza 15-10.
The tournament will resume on Thursday November 21, with triple action
3pm: Los Cocos vs. La Picaza
4pm: Irongate vs Sainte Mesme
5pm: Las Monjitas vs ICBC
Finals are due on Thursday November 28, and the members of the winning team will be presented with four Jaeger-LeCoultre watches.
