After a week long tournament in which five teams took part, the event culminated into the final on Saturday, 27th February, with Audi and Hotel de la Poste engaging in battle for the Gold Cup. Weather conditions could not have been better as the sun came out specially for the final after a few days of overcast conditions and heavy snow.
Hotel de la Poste, the team of Italian Alessandro Pastorini, came out the winners after a very close match against defending champions Audi with the final result 6 – 5 ½.
Previously US Polo Association and Julius Baer played for the 3rd and 4th places with the American team winning 7 ½ – 3
