Cowdray Estate, West Sussex, England are pleased to announce their partnership with Nic Roldan, US Polo Captain, who will work with Cowdray to promote the Estate to a global market.  The agreement formalises ties between two of the biggest names in polo.

Cowdray, ‘Home of British Polo’ and the British Open Polo Championship, supported Roldan’s inaugural UK Sunset Polo Event 2017, held at Cowdray House.  Following the success, of last year, the Estate will support the 2018 event, from which Sussex based children’s hospice, Chestnut Tree House will benefit.

Roldan will again be Cowdray based for the 2018 UK high-goal season, whilst playing for La Indiana polo team.  The Cowdray crest will be visible on Roldan’s gloves as part of his ambassadorial agreement, raising awareness of the Estate particularly in the US, where Roldan will partake in media campaigns on behalf of the Estate and Cowdray House.

Speaking on the new agreement, Jonathan Russell, Cowdray CEO said, “Nic’s connections with the Estate, combined with his talent and dedication to the sport of polo, ensure that he competes at the highest level globally, making him an ideal Estate Ambassador.  We are delighted to be working with a professional sportsman of this calibre and we are pleased that he is now an Estate Ambassador”.

Nic Roldan comments, “Having been based at Cowdray for the past three years and experienced the various aspects the Estate has to offer, it’s an honour to now accept this Ambassadorial role.  To play at Cowdray is a unique experience, with some of the best fields due the Estate’s commitment to the sport for current players and for future generations, not forgetting it’s amazing heritage.  Cowdray House provides a stunning exclusive use venue for guests seeking the ultimate British country house or polo experience.”
