DenverPolo Classic Seeks to Raise Over $400,000 for At-Risk Youth

Membersof the all-volunteer Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation have set theirsights on raising over $400,000 as they host the 21st Annual Denver PoloClassic ( July 11, 12 and 13.  The largestphilanthropic polo tournament in the North America , the 3-day gala is filledwith entertainment, gourmet food, wines, and international polo – bringingprofessional polo players from around the world to enjoy a beautiful setting insupport of a wonderful cause. 

The eventis held at the exclusive Polo Reserve Development located near Mineral andSanta Fe . The festivities kick-off Friday night, July 11th with the annualBlack-Tie Ball.  The Polo field creates a perfect backdrop for this memorableColorado summer evening. The Black-Tie Ball offers guests dinner, live musicfrom the Hazel Miller Band, dancing and both a live and silent auction. The weekend continues with CollegeInvest Family Day on Saturday.  Thefamily will enjoy various children’s activities while watching the qualifyingpolo matches.  Food from some of Denver ‘s favorite family restaurants anddrinks will be provided by sponsors for the whole family to enjoy.  Sundayis Championship Day and Polo enthusiasts arrive at the final matches decked outin garden party attire.  Attendees will enjoy plenty of exciting Poloaction, a variety of interesting wines and libations, as well as exquisite foodfrom some of Denver ‘s finest eateries. 

Each yearthe Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation ( raises $350,000+ during the Denver PoloClassic for charities serving at-risk and disadvantaged youth in theDenver-area.  Last year over 60 children’s organizations were supportedthrough the efforts of this charitable non-profit organization.  Thepublic is encouraged to participate in the efforts to help raise awareness ofthe needs of these children in our community.
