Chile and USA will play in the finals for the FIP 10th World Polo Championship
USA won its semifinal match against England 15 – 9 while Chile had to struggle until the last chukker to beat Brazil. The final score was 11 – 10
March 31st, 2015. The X World Polo Championship semifinals were played today. Chile won it¹s match against Brazil and gets to play the final. Around 6000 people attended the games.

31 de marzo de 2015.- Hoy se desarrollaron las semifinales en la cuarta jornada del 10º Mundial de Polo Chile 2015. Con un marco de público de 6000 personas, Chile logró el triunfo sobre Brasil.
Por Chile jugaron: Mario Silva (handicap 2), Ignacio Vial (4), Felipe
Vercellino (4) y José Miguel Pereira (4). Por Brasil jugaron: Eduardo
Parise (2), Gustavo García (4), Joao Novais (4) y Gabriel Villela Rosa
(4).Los Referees fueron: Rafael Silva (Uruguay) y Fergus Gould
(Australia) y el y el Umpire, Steve Evans.
Los resultados por chukker fueron: el primero empate a 2, el segundo
empate a 4, el tercero 8-5, perdiendo Chile; el cuarto, pierde Chile
8-6. En el quinto chukker Chile da vuelta el partido, quedando 10-9,
>arriba y el sexto y último ganó 11 a 10. El máximo anotador del partido
fue Felipe Vercellino con 6 goles.
Asimismo, a las 14:30 horas se disputó la primera semifinal entre
Estados Unidos e Inglaterra, ambos equipos con 14 goles de hándicap.

Unidos, el cuarto 13-6, perdiendo Inglaterra y el partido finalizó con
15-9, a favor de los norteamericanos.
Mañana serán las finales. A las 14.30 hrs. se enfrentarán Brasil v/s
Inglaterra por el tercer y cuarto lugar y a las 17.00 hrs Chile v/s
Estados Unidos disputarán el primer lugar del Mundial de Polo.
