Guards Polo Club is saddened to hear that Glen Gilmore is unable to join the team at Smith’s Lawn for the start of the 2013 season.
He was due to take up the post of Polo Manager from 3rd April but this has now been delayed as Glen has been diagnosed with a recurrence of a melanoma (after a 2-year absence) and so he will now remain in Australia for treatment and recovery.
Guards Polo Club wishes Glen every good wish and a speedy return to health and looks forward to welcoming him to Smith’s Lawn later this season. With the support of the whole team at Guards Polo Club, Emma Leiva and Tara Smith will continue to manage the day-to-day affairs of the Polo Office.
