Arena polo is a fast-paced version of polo played outdoors on a smaller-sized all-weather surface or indoor arena. There are three players on each team. The normal game consists of four chukkers.

With polo tournaments at Grand Champions and International Polo Club Palm Beach being postponed on Tuesday and Wednesday because of wet fields, the International Arena Game will provide fans with a much-needed polo fix.

When the fields dry, action will continue this month with 6-, 8- and 12-goal tournaments at Grand Champions Polo Club, the nation’s busiest, most innovative and cutting edge polo club.

The USPA 12-Goal Sieber Memorial, Santa Rita Memorial 8-Goal and Halo Polo Trophy 6-Goal Tournament are being held this month.

Grand Champions Polo Club also features The Polo School, dedicated to teaching polo, particularly grass roots youth. Its mission is to provide individuals opportunities in polo. The Polo School operates in Wellington January through June and September through November.
