Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates Polo in Buenos Aires

On December 4th 2014, a couple days before the finals held on December 6th 2014, Jaeger-LeCoultre strengthened its presence at the 121st Argentine Polo Open of Palermo while hosting an exclusive evening reception at Park Hyatt of Buenos Aires to celebrate and honor the spirit of polo.

Around 450 guests attended the event including: Jaeger-LeCoultre polo ambassadors Clare Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven, Luke Tomlinson, and Eduardo Novillo Astrada, alongside photographer Astrid Muñoz.  Also present was the famed Eduardo Fagliano  whose workshop, “Casa Fagliano”, is located in Buenos Aires and known throughout the world for its polo boots, fashioned with extraordinary concern for detail and worn by the world’s greatest players.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is very proud of being both the sponsor and official timekeeper of the 121st Argentine Polo Open of Palermo.

During the three-week prestigious competition, the eight best teams in the world challenged each other on the field.

This year La Dolfina won the finals against Ellerstina (14-12), achieving their second consecutive Triple Crown.

An area devoted to the universe of the Manufacture and to polo welcomed spectators during the various matches,

where Casa Fagliano also demonstrated its know-how in custom-made polo boot making.

Since the birth of the Reverso in 1931, the ties uniting Jaeger-LeCoultre and polo have been consistently strengthened. Jaeger-LeCoultre has associated its name with the biggest international events, particularly in Argentina, where the brand has been supporting players and their teams through benefit gala dinners and charity polo events for more than ten years.

Relationships established with players such as Eduardo Novillo Astrada, Luke Tomlinson

and Clare Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven, all longstanding Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassadors,

are living proof of the values Jaeger-LeCoultre shares with the world of polo.
