On Thursday, September 5, at the facilities of the Jockey Club of San Isidro, the Press Round of the Launch of the 59th Open of the Jockey Club Thai Polo Cup was held, a renowned tournament that will be played from September 10 to 21. This event is the venue chosen by the best players and most influential polo skippers worldwide.
During the presentation, a general review of the tournament was offered, which will take place on the prestigious fields of the Jockey Club of San Isidro and the AAP in Pilar. The tournament will host the most outstanding polo players worldwide, including figures such as Adolfo Cambiaso (father and son), the brothers Bartolomé and Camilo Castagnola, Facundo Pieres, and Juan Martín Zubia, among other outstanding players.
Among those attending the event, important personalities of polo stood out, such as Juan Carlos Echeverz and Diego Zavaleta, members of the commission of the Jockey Club of San Isidro; Juan Martín Zubia, player of the La Ensenada team; Carlos Menéndez Behety, vice president of the Argentine Polo Association (AAP); and Juanjo Díaz Alberdi, Umpire Chief of the AAP.
