Juan Gris Zavaleta wins World Polo Tour MVP

Juan Gris Zavaleta, the six goal Argentine player, has won the World Polo Tour Most Valuable Player for June. Juan was awarded the accolade after his inspiring performance with Apes Hill Club Barbados during the Queens Cup at Guards Polo Club.


 


After his win, the 22 year old has accumulated 204 points in the overall World Polo Tour ranking and is currently in 58th place.


 


In other news, the Gold Cup semi-finals are due to be played at Cowdray Park Polo Club tomorrow (Thursday). Dubai will face Les Lions II at 12pm and then at 4pm Sumaya will play La Bamba De Areco. The winners of the tournament get a whopping 150 points distributed among them, as part of the World Polo Tour Grand Slam, alongside the US Open and the Sotogrande Gold Cup.
