Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup
Chapelco will host the 1st. Official Snow Polo Event in the Southern Hemisphere, which will be held on August 15 and 16. The tournament will showcase four teams up to 16 goals.
The Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup will be the most important event of snow polo in the country, and unlike other exhibitions played on this surface, Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup is an official competition certify by the World Polo Tour.
Some of the most important patrons and businessmen in Argentina are playing the tournament, along with the world’s best player, Adolfo Cambiaso. It will be also the debut on snow polo of the former soccer star, Gabriel Batistuta taking part in his first World Polo Tour competition.
Another ten-goaler will be playing the Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup, Agustín Merlos, who holds the record of goals scored at the Argentine Open.
The Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup joins the Snow Polo category in the World Polo Tour, along with St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow, Cortina D ’Ampezzo Gold Cup and the S Club Snow Arena Polo World Cup Courchevel.
