Quality league matches at Group B of the Julius Bär Gold Cup 2015 came to an end this afternoon with Zedan and Abu Dhabi wins against Desert Palm I and Desert Palm II.
Zedan defeated Desert Palm I 10 goals to 9 and Abu Dhabi beat Desert Palm II by the same result. With this results, Zedan, already in the semifinals, ended in the first position of the Group B while Desert Palm II, Abu Dhabi and UAE Polo will have to play tomorrow a penalty shootout to decide who will join Zedan, Julius Bär Team and Bin Drai in the semifinals.
Penalty shootout will be held from 11 am at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club. The winner of the shootout will go straight to the next stage were they will face Bin Drai Polo, ranked 1 in Group A.
The other semifinal, already set up, will be Zedan, ranked 1st in Group B, against Julius Bär Team, second in Group A.
