Monterosso win La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo Trophy

 

And there was no rematch in the final of the La Aguada Cowdray Park Polo Trophy, that took place on Sunday November 26. Monterosso, who had previously defeated Cowdray Vikings in the last qualifying round, did it again in the championship game against George Pearson’s foursome. They took a 9-6 win to claim the title of the competition held within the 2017 HSBC Spring Season at La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina.

 

The Subsidiary went to Conosco, who beat Escorihuela Gascón by a 10,5 – 9 score.

 

The tournament hosted by La Aguada Polo Club in Argentina, marks the strong partnership between La Aguada Polo Club and Cowdray Park Polo Club, one of the most prestigious polo clubs in England and Europe. The competition showcased four teams up to 16 goals, in lineups that featured some of the most renowned members of the illustrious and historical  Cowdray Park Polo Club, based in Midhurst, West Sussex, England.
