La Dolfina wins Jockey Club Open 2011 in Argentina

Adolfo Cambiaso scored eleven goals to secure La Dolfina a 15-13 win over La Irenita and claim the team’s first title of the season, the Jockey Club Open. The Final was held on Saturday 17 September 2011 at the Jockey Club’s main field, in San Isidro, Buenos Aires.


The Jockey Club Open is the first major competition of the Argentine polo season and the final tournament before the start of the Triple Crown in Argentina. This year’s Jockey Club Final saw Adolfo Cambiaso and Pablo MacDonough playing against each other on opposing sides before they join forces in the La Dolfina team in the upcoming Triple Crown.
