“ZARZUELA POLO Cup”, MADRID (7-10 October, 2009)

The finals (Davis LLP v. Air France) took place on Saturday on a very sunny Spanish evening. There was a large turnout of lawyers and guests from arounf the world. The Davis LLP Polo Team (captained by Justin R.G. Fogarty together with Alain Clery, Christoph Kerres and Carlos Lucena) was the winner of the “Zarzuela Polo Cup.” The second finalist was the Air France Polo Team captained by Miguel Gil de Biedma together with Eduardo Bereterbide (Sr), Eduardo Bereterbide (Jr) and José Camiña.

The Lawyers Polo Association brings together 300 lawyers from around the workd who share the passion for polo and polo horses. The LPA was founded in 2008 by two polo playing lawyers Eduardo Bereterbide (Buenos Aires – NYC) and Justin Fogarty (Toronto).
