MINT TEAM LONDON TO FACE CHAMPIONS CITY AM TEAM ABU DHABI AT CHESTERTONS POLO IN THE PARK 2015
WORLD class polo players and VIPs gathered at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park for the live draw of Chestertons Polo in the Park where city teams from around the globe will battle it out at the tournament from 5-7 June at Hurlingham Park. Guests were treated to a Champagne Lanson Rose Label reception and Fentimans Cocktails throughout the evening.
The opening match of the tournament will see Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Team Hong Kong, face the ever competitive Irish in Team Dublin, whilst Shoreline Team Lagos will play Argentex Team Davos in the second match of the day. The final city match will be MINT Team London, captained by George Spencer-Churchill, against reigning champions City AM Team Abu Dhabi who will be returning to reclaim the much coveted trophy.
New to this year’s schedule is the addition of an International Match, where Team England sponsored by Cutler and Gross will take on Team South America sponsored by Air Europa, in the final match of the evening of Friday 5 June. It will be the first England International polo match played at Hurlingham Park since 1939.
