In France, from the 1st to the 16th of September 2012, will be held the “First Championship of Women’s Polo”, sponsored by Chopard a competition held for three weeks with 8 teams 100% female.
In recent years, women’s tournaments are organized in the U.S, England, Spain, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina. It was obvious that France, which already has major polo tournaments such as the World Championship Polo Gold Cup in Deauville, France Championships in Apremont, Open of Paris in Bagatelle, had to accompany this development.

The matches will take place on one of the fields of the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, less than an hour from north of Paris. And on the fileds of Murus Sanctus, from west of Paris. Final phases from the 15th to the 16th September will be played at Chantilly.
• When
While the polo season in France is in full swing from the 1st to the 16th of September, during the 3 weeks of the competition, French and international players will follow one another. The final will be played on Sunday, September 16th, 2012, followed by an awards ceremony.
