2009 PIAGET GOLD CUP KICKS OFF

AT INTERNATIONAL POLO CLUB PALM BEACH

 

On Thursday March 5^th,  International Polo Club Founder, John Goodman and President of Piaget North America, Larry Boland, hosted a cocktail reception and celebration following the team draw for the Third Annual Piaget Gold Club.

 

In attendance were the patrons and players of the eight teams playing in the Gold Cup including: Audi, Black Watch, Las Monjitas, Lechuza Caracas, Orchard Hill, Pony Express, White Birch, and Zacara.  Mr. Boland and Lauren Duffy, Assistant Vice President of Retail presented the new Piaget Polo Forty Five watch which will be awarded to the winner of the 2009 Piaget Gold Cup team . In addition, Mr. Boland and Ms. Duffy gave each team member a Piaget branded saddle pad and  travel bag  

 

Over 70 players, patrons and International Polo Club members were on hand to enjoy the kick off party which took place inside the 7th Chukker restaurant at the International Polo Club.  The Piaget Gold Cup  begins this Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 P.M. and will continue through March 29. The International Polo Club Palm Beach is located in Wellington, Florida and hosts professional polo through April 26.  Every Sunday at 3PM games are played on field one at the International Polo Club and is open to the public.
