POLO AT MARRINERS – SUNDAY 29 MAY 2011
A Fundraising Committee for the Hampshire Hunt comprising Lady Amelia Northbrook, David Cowley, ex-Chairman of Pony Club Polo, Joint Masters Fiona Axel Berg and Peregrine Rowse, and Hon Secretary Nigel Webb are organising a Charity Polo Match on Sunday 29 May at Amelia Northbrook’s beautiful private polo pitch at Bramdean, Hampshire. The day will open with a drinks reception, kindly sponsored by Hattingley Valley Wines, during which an exhibition Pony Club match will be played, followed by picnic lunch. The main event in the afternoon will be an American style polo tournament of three teams put together by the redoubtable Alan Kent, which will put on display some of the best young British polo talent around, featuring John Kent, Jack Richardson, Richard La Poer and Nick Pepper to name but a few.
It should be a fun and action packed day out, with the beneficiaries being the Hampshire Hunt, the Hampshire Youth Clubs and Action on Addiction. For tickets and info, email info@marrinerspolo.co.uk.
