The inaugural Bath Polo is set for Saturday 23rd May 2009 and already there is much anticipation and excitement surrounding this family event.  The Bath Polo takes place at the Bath Racecourse and the all day event will have something for everyone.

The gates will open at 10.am to visitors.  The Bath Racecourse will be a packed with wonderful and interesting stalls, children’s activities for all ages, food stalls to cater for every appetite and VIP corporate hospitality.  It is very much a family day with children being entertained by jugglers, mini sports workshops, faces painters, craft and much more. And not forgetting the immense thrill surrounding the polo and the players.  The polo will be played at high level, with two Exhibition games being played during the day.

Polo, normally seen as a sport associated with rich and famous, but the Bath Polo will be fun for one and all.  Whether guests are looking for high end, luxury hospitality in an exclusive marquee, or simply to come and enjoy the spectacle, wander on and around the fields taking in the atmosphere and picnic scene, there are tickets to suit all tastes and budgets.

The inaugural Bath Polo is being organised by local sports and corporate hospitality company, VU Ltd, run by former Bath and England rugby player Victor Ubogu. “I have wanted to bring one of the word’s oldest sports to our world heritage city for a long time!“ said Victor Ubogu.  “Our aim for the day is very simple: give everyone who comes a really great day out!
