Tickets go on for sale for Chestertons Polo in the Park 2016
Super Early Bird tickets go on sale on Monday 1 February at 12 noon for one of London’s unmissable summer events, Chestertons Polo in the Park, which takes place on 3, 4, & 5 June 2016 at London’s iconic Hurlingham Park, Fulham.
Now in its eighth year, the three-day sporting spectacle has firmly established itself as one of the most anticipated and sought after events in South West London, as well as marking the start of the capital’s social summer season. This year will also see team England return to the hallowed turf to take on a rival country in a thrilling international match.
Chestertons Polo in the Park is one of the largest and most popular polo tournaments in Europe. The rules have been uniquely simplified so that newcomers will be able to follow the fast and furious polo without needing any prior knowledge of the game. Over the course of three days, teams representing six different cities from around the world will be taking part in the hotly contested event.
For those seeking a day full of pitch side excitement, there is a myriad of decadent bars, including the famous Champagne Lanson Garden and the Mahiki Bar, the perfect environment to enjoy the polo and music whilst quaffing a refreshing cocktail. For the shopaholics, there is an onsite shopping village selling desired luxury items as well as an impressive food quarter to satisfy the taste buds.
Following on from last year’s success, the evening of the opening day on Friday 3 June will host an England International match. This popular day is a favourite for corporates and their guests as matches carry on into the balmy evenings and with post 5pm tickets available at just £10, it’s a magnet for those looking to wind-down after work.
Saturday’s event, which is traditionally known as ‘Ladies Day presented by Little Miracles Drinks’ is one of the most sociable dates in the West London calendar. Ladies Day presented by Little Miracles Drinks is for the fashion savvy, champagne drinkers as guests fill up the gardens and bars in the summer’s most stylish outfits – tickets are expected to sell out fast so book early to avoid disappointment.
On Sunday 5 June, the pressure on the pitch ramps up for “Finals Day” when the city’s teams battle it out for victory and the chance to lift the winner’s trophy in front of the crowds. It’s a hugely popular day for all parties, from families looking for exciting activities for their children to those wanting to relax over a delicious brunch whilst watching the fun and enjoying a glass of Champagne Lanson.
Tickets for the event start from just £10 with limited Super Early Bird tickets available, which can be purchased here www.ticketmaster.co.uk. For more information please visit www.polointhepark.com.
