Polo Masters Cup

Edrees defetead Bin Drai by 11 goals to 4 in the third day of action for the Polo Masters Cup held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.

Patron Sultan Edrees team achieved their second consecutive win in the tournament and with this victory they increase the chances to be in the final.

After a better start by Bin Drai, Edrees took control of the game in the second period with “Tito” Ruíz Guiñazú and Pierre N ́Goumou playing at a high level. With third man, Ariel Ponzi, scoring goals, Edrees kept increasing the gap in the third chukker for a comfortable final victory by 11 goals to 4.

Match Progression: Edrees: 1-2/ 4-3/ 8-3/ 11-4

The tournament will continue tomorrow with a double action day at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.
UAE Polo will be facing Zedan from 2.30 pm in field 3 followed by Mahra vs Wolves in field 1.

Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, launched The Polo Masters Cup, a new medium goal tournament with teams seven teams taking part.

The tournament is up to 14 goals handicap and will be held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club from Monday 8th February to Monday 15th February 2016.
