In a very attractive double action polo day at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, Mahra defetead Wolves by 11 goals to 5 and is the first team to qualify to the finals of the Polo Masters Cup. 

Patron Rashid Al Habtoor team achieved two victories in two games (vs Habtoor and vs Wolves) and with one classification stage to go already makes it to the final. 

Match Progression: Mahra: 3-3/ 6-4/ 8-4/ 11-5 

In the first match of the day, Zedan Polo defeated UAE Polo by 11 goals to 8 with patron Amr Zedan and superstar Pablo Mac Donough playing at a great level scoring 4 and 5 goals each. 

Match Progression: Zedan: 4-3/ 5-6/ 7-8/ 11-8 

The tournament will continue next Saturday with a double action day at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.

Habtoor Polo will be facing Zedan from 2.30 pm followed by Bin Drai vs UAE Polo. 

Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, launched The Polo Masters Cup, a new medium goal tournament with teams seven teams taking part.

The tournament is up to 14 goals handicap and will be held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club from Monday 8th February to Monday 15th February 2016. 

We are delighted to announce the Polo Masters Cup 2016, a new addition to the polo sport in Dubai. This will be the first tournament that will be held at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club. 

The newly developed Al Habtoor Polo Club & Resort, located in DubaiLand will be a horse lovers dream! 

The Andalusian-style development will include luxury villas – including St. Regis branded ones. There will also be an academy offering multiple disciplines from traditional horse-riding, dressage, show jumping and polo; state-of-the-art stable and a club to rival age-old sporting institutions in the West. 

The centerpiece of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club will be a five-star St. Regis hotel, a brand that has long been associated with polo, since the turn of the 20th century in fact! However it marks the first-ever St. Regis polo resort.
