The “Royal Salute Gold Cup 2012 China Open Polo Tournament” is sanctioned by the Chinese Equestrian Association and General Administration of Sport of China, co-hosted by Beijing Sports Competitions Administration Center, Beijing Equestrian Association, Bureau of Sports of Tongzhou District and Tang Polo Club and it is the only recognized National Open Polo tournament.
The tournament will kick off at the Tang Polo Club located near the Wenyu River from Tuesday 18th to Sunday 23rd September. In order to announce the tournament the sponsors and club held the press conference in Beijing at the St. Regis Hotel on Friday 24th August 2012.
“Royal Salute Gold Cup 2012 China Open Polo Tournament” has three sections 0-4, 4-8 and a high goal level. The 0-4 and 4-8 tournaments aim to promote the development of Chinese and Asian Polo while enriching the China Open Polo tournament as a whole.
All the matches of the tournament are open to public and the high goal tournament, additionally has other entertainment and activities to keep the audience riveted and to create a wonderful weekend of sport.
