Las Monjitas take the Silver at Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande
Las Monjitas defeated Ayala 11-10 in the final of the high goal Sotogrande Silver Cup, at the XXXVIII International Polo Tournament, held at Santa MarÃa Polo Club on Saturday, 15th August. Juan Gris Zavaleta, who had a sensational season in England this year, was named Most Valuable Player.
Earlier in the afternoon Tattinger Dos Lunas defeated I Lovka Las Balas 12-11 in extra time, with a golden goal by Gonzalo Pieres, to win the the Subsidiary Trophy.
The low goal Valecuatro Silver Cup which took place in the morning, was won by Kia El Corzo who defeated KP Equestrian 12-7. Previousy, the subsidiary cup was won by L-14 by defeating Santa Anita 9-8.
The medium La Martina Cup will be played today, Sunday, when Woodchester will face Ayala Esperanza at 7.00 PM, whilst for the Subsidiary Trophy at 5.30 PM Santa Quiteria will play Sevens Seven
