Sainte Mesme and Brunei successfully open the Aerolíneas Argentinas Silver Cup

The Bronze Cup champion, Sainte Mesme and Brunei Polo Team won their respective matches in the opening day of the Aerolíneas Argentinas Medium Goal Silver Cup. Brunei defeat Bardon by a tight 13 goals to 12 while Sainte Mesme defeated Golden Goose by 14 goals to 8.
In the duel of the French teams, the winners of the Bronze Cup, team made up by Robert and Birger Strom, Nicolás Ruíz Guiñazú and Clemente Zavaleta, achieved a victory with a difference in the score broader than expected. The Aerolíneas Argentinas Silver Cup will continue tomorrow with another attractive double action day at Los Pinos fields. From 5.30, on field 2, Marques de Riscal will play against Twenty 20, finalist of the Bronze Cup followed by Equus vs Royal Salute in field 4 from 7 pm.
Isola 1892 Low Goal Silver Cup
The fields of Puente de Hierro will receive ftomorrow the opening day of the Isola 1892 Low Goal Silver Cup. Six teams will compete in this tournament that will have from 11 am two simultaneous matches: La Clarita vs FCT Sotovila, champions of the Bronze Cup, on field 2 and Don Carlos vs Sardañola on field 1. Bayswater La Mangosta and Ghabilian Guards will close the first action day from 12.15 at field 2.
In this 46th edition of the Tournament more than 21 teams are taking part of the competition, with a large number of elite players, including four of the top 10 players in world polo ranking: Facundo Pieres, who will play with Ayala Polo Team; Juan Martín Nero (Lechuza Caracas) and Pablo MacDonough, who will stand up for Brunei and Dubai Polo Teams, and the Uruguayan David Stirling (Lechuza).
Besides polo matches, attendance, that´s free during almost all the season matches, has many leisure activities available: a varied gastronomy, Shopping Village, children’s area, bars, After Polo night parties.
