The 2013 Alexandria Cup
Inspire and the Malta Polo Club have teamed up with BMW to play an American tournament for the Alexandria Cup, a trophy which goes way back to 1952, when it was presented to the Malta Polo club by the Alexandria Sporting Club.
This one-day event was held on Saturday March 23, at the Polo Club in Marsa, and spectators had chance to watch Malta’s top polo players.
The tournament was played over 6 chukkas with 3 teams, the BMW polo team, the Malta polo club team and the Inspire polo team. The winning team was the Malta polo club polo team captained by Martin Arrigo who saw his team win over the other 2 teams.
Throughout the event spectators were also be able to try their hand at Polo, by joining lessons given by a team of professional coaches.
