The Polo Club Saint-Tropez ups the tempo! Six High Goal teams enter the list for this second edition of the Côte D’Azur Polo Cup 15-18 Goals. The best English and Argentine referees, Peter Wright, Tim Bown and JJ Diaz Alberdi, umpire the games. A great spectacle is lined up bringing together key international teams:

The 21st Luxury team of Gualtiero Giori, a regular of the Club, who returns this year with this new team.

Helen Goddard Watts’ Composite Worksteam are back for the second edition of this tournament .

Ferne Park, winners of the 2015 Côte D’Azur Cup.

The local team, F Polo Team has the support of Polito Pieres (9 hcp).

 

The Thai King Power team, with Gonzalo Pieres (H)(10 hcp), winners of the Gold Cup in 2015 and 2016.

And last in alphabetical order, but not least, the American team, La Indiana,finalists of the 2016 Queens Cup and 2016 Gold Cup in England.

 

Meanwhile, the 8-10 Goal tournament will see eight teams face each other, each one as competitive as the other.

The grounds of the Haras de Gassin will see some hard use over the coming days.

 

Everyone has been seduced by the Polo Club, the prestige of the venue and itsoutstanding facilities, and also by thefestive and glamorous atmosphere of that timeless of summer destinations,Saint Tropez itself.

 

Tournament final matches on 14th August from 5 pm

 

On 14th August, the finals of both tournaments will take place. On this occasion, the Polo Club Saint-Tropez will put on its very best show in the company of all its guests.

The 1999 Polo restaurant will welcome the public to its traditional gala dinner, where the Goldsingers will do homage to the music of legendary films to enchant the guests throughout the evening.

• 18h30: Final match of the Côte D’Azur Polo Cup (8-10)
• 19h45: Prize giving and Cinema Party
