Asprey London wins La Martina Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother’s Centenary Tournament
Asprey London are the winners of the La Martina Queens Mother’s Centenary Tournament, the first medium goal tournament of the season at Guards Polo Club, which was played under heavy rain at times at Guards Polo Club on Sunday, 17 May. Asprey London with Simon Holley, Johnny Good, Chris Hyde and Sebastian Dawney obtained the trophy after defeating Aravali 7-3.
Despite the weather conditions the match went ahead, although it was played at Guards Polo Club ground 4 rather than at the Queen’s Ground as scheduled.
In the subsidiary final Mad Dogs defeated Great Oaks 7-6
