Lawyers Polo Association presents
THE ZARZUELA POLO, LAWYERSCUP,
Following the success of theinaugural Tango Polo, Lawyers Cup in Argentina last year, we aredelighted to announce the 2nd annual gathering of The Lawyers Polo Association’sLawyers’ Cup, the The Zarzuela Polo, Lawyers Cup in Madrid, 7-9 October 2009.
The tournament has receivedwidespread recognition and is considered by many to be one of the majorhighlights of the IBA calendar.
The Lawyers Polo Association issupported by The International Bar Association, The Canadian Polo Associationand The Madrid Polo Association.
The tournament is exclusivelyfor lawyers and takes place each year over the same week in or round the same city as the annual IBA meeting,thus bringing together personalities and patrons from the legal, business andpolo world in an eclectic international environment.
The three-day itinerarycommences with an opening ceremony party on the Wednesday at 6 pm until latewith an introductory speech presenting players, teams and sponsors.
Friday is scheduled for a fullpolo day at Villafranca del Castillo Polo Club from 11 am until 6 pm. This isthen followed by cocktails and barbecue at the Club House of Villafranca delCastillo in the evening.
Polo matches will continue onSaturday morning throughout the day, at the end of which a trophy ceremony willbe held. The evening closing party commences at 6 p.m.
