Tortugas Open Final on 10/30/25

After the rain delay, it was confirmed that on Thursday 10/30 the final match of the 85th Tortugas Country Club Open will be played, in which the Emilio de Anchorena Cup is at stake.

The tournament was played by the 8 best teams in the world, which boast between 32 and 40 goals of handicapp.

 

The grand final between the recent winner of the 132nd Hurlingham Club Open and the only contender for the Triple Crown, La Natividad La Dolfina, vs. Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufú Vista will be played on field 7 of the local club starting at 5:00 p.m.

THE NUMBERS OF THE FINAL

La Natividad La Dolfina will seek its second title since the two teams merged. Separately, La Natividad has two trophies in Tortugas (2022 and 23); while La Dolfina accumulates six (2013 to 2018).

For their part, the team of the Pieres and the Heguy will seek their first Triple Crown title since the two clubs joined.

Divided, Ellerstina, the tournament’s top winner, will seek his 14th trophy in Tortugas, after having won it in 1992, 94, 95, 05, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 19, 20 and 21. While Indios Chapaleufú has 12 (five as Indios Chapaleufú I -1985, 96, 00, 02 and 06-; four as Los Indios -1943, 46, 65 and 67-; two as Indios Chapaleufú II -1990 and 91- and one as Indios Chapaleufú -1988-).

 

On the individual side, Facundo Pieres will seek his 12th Tortugas trophy to equal the tournament’s top winner, Pablo Mac Donough. His brother Gonzalo will try to get his 11th title in Tortuguitas; while Adolfo Cambiaso (h) will be looking for his 10th in this Open. For their part, Camilo and Barto Castagnola will try to win the tournament for the third time.

Finally, Poroto Cambiaso (La Natividad La Dolfina) will seek his first title in the tournament, while Antonio and Cruz Heguy (Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufú Vista), will not only try to win their first trophy in Tortugas, but also their first in Triple Crown tournaments. Success for all!
