It was midweek madness at the National Polo Center on Wednesday 2nd April with a triple header for the U.S. Open Polo Championship.
Match 1:
The Setai won against Brookshire by a score of 13-12 in the first match of the day.
Both teams now have a win and a loss going into the 3rd round. With Brookshire leading throughout it seemed like a done deal but a herculean effort from newcomers La Setai in the last chukkas saw them outscore their opponents 4-1 to take their first win of the tournament.

Match 2:
La Dolfina/Tamera won against La Dolfina/Catamount by a score of 11-10 in the second match of the day.
As we have seen before with 2 Cambiasos on the field, it was an extremely tight game between the 2 La Dolfina sides. La Dolfina/ Catamount specifically needed the win having lost their first game to USPA Gold Cup winners, Park Place and with this loss they go 2 and 0. The lead switched throughout the game, neither side able to gain a notable advantage. La Dolfina/ Catamount went into the final chukka 1 goal up but were unable to maintain the lead and it was La Dolfina/ Tamera who sealed the deal with 2 last chukka goals.
