
US Open Polo Championship play continued to delight audiences at the National Polo Center in Wellington, Florida on Sunday 6th April with 2 exciting matches.
Match 1:
In the first match of the day Coca-Cola won against Pilot by a score of 11-9 giving the CV Whitney and USPA Gold Cup finalists a 2-1 win-loss record. It was anyone’s game with Coca Cola managing to gain a small advantage in the 4th chukka which they fought hard to maintain with Pilot battling them each step of the way.

In the second match of the day La Dolfina/Tamera won against Clearwater by a score of 11-9. Great team play throughout by La Dolfina/ Tamera kept them in the lead for the 7 chukkas. Some tough attacking plays from Clearwater saw them have a comeback in the penultimate chukka but it wasn’t enough to take the lead and they finish the 3rd round of matches without a win while La Dolfina/ Tamera remain unbeaten.
