Two matches took place on Monday 7th April at the National Polo Center on the penultimate day of qualifying matches for the US Open Polo Championship.
Match 1:
First La Fe Eastern Hay won against The Setai by a score of 11-8. The match was even throughout but new side The Setai were unable to overcome the deficit they suffered in the 2nd chukka when La Fe Eastern Hay scored 2 goals to their 0. La Fe Eastern Hay has a 2-1 record while The Setai are down 1-2 win-loss.

Match 2:
In the second match of the day, Brookshire won against The Dutta Corp by a score of 13-8, seeing them finish the qualifying rounds with a 2-1 win-loss record. It was a comfortable win for the Brookshire side who have played well throughout the Gauntlet so far and even a change in line up seeing Hugh Dollard in for Scott Wood wasn’t enough to put them off their game.
