UVa Teams 1st and 2nd at Nationals!
The UVa Women’s Team are National Champions for the 3rd year in a row! Mary Collins, Julia Smith, Vicky Friedrichs, and Colby O’Neil triumphed over Cornell 14 to 12. Eddie Lopez, Todd Thurston, Santiago Marulando and Felipe Gomez of the UVa Men’s Team made it to the final round, scoring 14 to Westmont’s 16. Coach Lopez states he is “very, very pleased by the efforts put in by both teams.”
