Victor Vargas’ Lechuza Caracas wins Sotogrande Gold Cup
Lechuza Caracas defeated Dos Lunas 12-8 in the final of the Sotogrande Gold Cup at Santa Maria Polo Club yesterday, Friday, 31st August. Although Dos Lunas had an early advantage in the match, having a lead of 4-1 in the second chukka, Luchuza Caracas made an extraordinary comeback in the second part leaving their opponents without any chance of victory.
In the subsidiary final, HB defeated Kaptive Leones 16-10.
Juan MartÃn Nero, the only 10 goal player of the tournament, was awarded MVP and Ludovic Pailloncy, HB’s patron, was named Most Valuable Non Professional Player.
