VIII LA AGUADA SELECTION HORSE SALE
The VIII La Aguada Selection Horse Sale took place on Monday November 11 2013, at the Tattersall, of the Jockey Club, in San Isidro, Argentina. The sale featured the best of the Novillo Astrada family’s breed, all of them players of the Triple Crown and multiple awarded. Carlos Reyes Terrabusi, Lovelock Polo Stud and Alegria Polo were the guest breeders.
The event had a magnificient organization on a very special occasion, as La Aguada celebrated their 50 years of polo. Many polo personalities and special guests joined the Novillo Astrada family for the celebration, such as Jorge Mac Donough, Matias MacDonough, Fred Mannix, Adolfo Cambiaso, Gonzalo Pieres Jr., Clemente Zavaleta, Mariano Aguerre, Cristian Laprida Jr., Agustín Merlos, Guillermo Fernández Llanos, Marcos Heguy, Santiago Solari, Camilo Bautista, Guillermo Fornielles, Marcos di Paola, as well as representatives of the prestigious Cowdray Park Polo Club, Lila Pearson and Polo Manager, Chris Bethel.
The fabulous decoration of the Tattersall included a timeline, featuring the whole story of the Novillo Astrada family, as well as a museum with photos, trophies and team jerseys on display.
Prior to the start of the sale, that was commanded by Sebastián Bullrich and Marcos Heguy, the attendance were delighted with a special video clip about the history of La Aguada, followed by a moving speech by Eduardo Novillo Astrada Jr. on behalf of the family.
