On field number 6 of the Alfredo Lalor Headquarters that the AAP has in Pilar, the final match of the XXXIX version of the Argentine Youth Open was played on Tuesday 3/10, in which four teams of between 23 and 27 goals participated, integrated with players up to 21 years old.
The triumph corresponded to La Natividad, which beat El Overo by 11 to 7 and in this way the tournament remained for the fifth consecutive time (in 2018 the team bore the name of La Ensenada La Natividad).
With this new title, Jeta Castagnola won the fifth championship consecutively, after consecrating itself in 2018/19/21/22, taking into account that in 2020 the tournament could not be played due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, his cousin Poroto scored the three-time championship 21/22/23; and Mía -sister of Poroto-, who in 2022 made in history for being the first woman to win this important tournament. The only one who celebrated this title for the first time was Lorenzo Chavanne. Congratulations!
