 BMW – B Grimm Thai Open 2012 Tournament – Day 1

Three matches were played on day one of the BMW – B Grimm Thai Open 2012 Tournament which took place on Tuesday, 11th of January.

MACAU: 5 ½  vs RANHILL: 7

The first match of the 2012 Thai Polo Open was between two closely matched teams – MACAU (12 goal team) vs RANHILL (14 goal team).

The first goal was quickly put on the board by team Macau early in the first chukkar; only to be followed by a goal from Ranhill.

From that point on it is was a trade off of goals up until the end of the last chukkar, with Ranhill scoring on a 30 yard penalty hit and then a quick goal after the throw in; ending the chukkar and the game at 7 for Ranhill and 5 ½ for Macau.

The patrons of the Macau team were a pleasure to watch as they displayed their ability to stay up with the pace, the speed and the intensity of the game.

The close score is most definitely a testimony to their efforts.
