Results and report of day two (13th January 2011) of the BMW – B Grimm Thai Open 2012 Tournament
TROIKA: 7 vs GTM: 4
Unfortunately, the score does not describe the game. It was a 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 contest until the fourth minute of the last chukkar where it was 4 to 4. At which point Trokia scored on a penalty 4 and then two goals from the field. GTM had their chances in the last part of the last chukkar; however, the ball just would not go over the goal line. The Trokia team win their second match of the 2012 Thai Open; putting them in contention to play in the semi-finals on 18 January.
THAI POLO: 6 vs ROYAL PAHANG: 7
In what was probably the closest match to be played in the 2012 Thai Open to this point, Royal Pahang won a brilliantly played game between to very good teams. Fouls plagued the Thai Polo team and caused them to suffer their first loss of the tournament. It was the first match and victory of the tournament for the Royal Pahang team.
LA SARITA: 6 ½ vs RANHILL : 4
In their first match of the tournament, LaSarita won against a most determined Ranhill team. La Sarita was leading the entire match and added one more goal at the end of the last chukkar to finish with the score of 6 ½ to 4. Welcome back to polo Asad.
