May 2024: Chestertons Polo in the Park – The world’s largest three-day polo festival – is back and
kicking off London’s social calendar at Hurlingham Park, Fulham, from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th June.
Set across three incredible days, the international polo event will feature teams from across the
globe, the impressive Fulham food festival with an array of new food and drink partners, hospitality
with a pitch side view, a new VIP area, plus fun for all the family on Sunday. This year will also see
England battle it out against the USA in a thrilling international fixture for the coveted Olympic
Trophy.
Hurlingham Park is renowned for being the spiritual home of polo since 1875, when the Hurlingham
Polo Committee drew up the first formal rules of the game. Chestertons Polo in the Park celebrates
this legacy and encourages Londoners and visitors alike to enjoy the competitive polo games
throughout the weekend.
Chestertons Polo in the Park is set to go the extra mile on all festival elements this year; guests will
enjoy pitch-side bars and gardens courtesy of Champagne Lanson and Fever-Tree, as well as a
Casamigos ‘House of Friends’ popup experience. A brand new VIP area with a private bar, views of
the pitch and space for up to 300 guests will be a hot ticket for 2024, as well as live music and
dancing in the legendary Mahiki tent, a curated Shopping Village experience, and an array of
delicious street eats at the Fulham Food Festival.
Over the course of the three-day polo festival, there will be six city teams competing from the
financial capitals of the world, putting on a thrilling performance for all to enjoy.
Friday 7th June – International Friday, sponsored by Northern Data Group and presented by City
A.M
Friday will be an action-packed day designed to kick start the summer season. The tournament will
include the first city teams taking to the hallowed turf of Hurlingham Park for three gripping matches
over the afternoon, as well as the eagerly anticipated battle for the Olympic Trophy, where England
will take on USA in a fast-paced international match to win this historical trophy. Taking place on the
opening day of the festival, England will look to retain the trophy following a nail biting win against
Ireland in 2023.
Friday is the perfect setting to entertain friends and clients or host the ultimate office summer party,
whilst enjoying the world class hospitality in the new VIP areas that Chestertons Polo in the Park is set
to deliver.
Saturday 8th June – Ladies Day sponsored by Brutal Fruit Cider and presented by SheerLuxe
Raise a glass and join Chestertons Polo in the Park as Saturday celebrations kick off with Ladies Day.
Guests are invited to enjoy the live music, DJs, Fulham Food Festival, luxury shopping village and
fabulous gardens and bars. Watch the polo and enjoy London’s best summer day party from the
Champagne Lanson Garden and the renowned Mahiki Tent.
Fulham Food Festival will be serving up some of London’s most popular restaurants and street food
vendors including the Argentine Steak Restaurant, Gaucho, burgers from Truffle London, Poké Bowls
from Island Poké, seafood bites from Calamari Canteen, delicious Mexican street food from Papi
Chulo . Made of Dough will be selling their famous wood fire pizzas whilst Longboys will be offering
doughnuts for those looking for an afternoon sweet treat.
Sunday 11th June – Family & Final’s Day
Sunday provides a fitting finale to the three day polo festival. The Sunday morning begins with a
‘pitch invasion’ which hosts London’s largest kids party hosted by the famous and much-loved
children’s party entertainers, Sharky and George. Offering endless kid’s games, alongside the
opportunity to learn to play polo, improve rugby and football skills or to just bounce the day away in
the Little Hooves Kids Club.
The afternoon sees the culmination of three days of polo, as the champions of the festival are
crowned followed by the Chestertons Polo in the Park ultimate Mahiki Day party to finish the
weekend off in style.
This year, Chestertons Polo in the Park promises to deliver a bigger and better polo festival than ever
before. Continuing the tradition of bringing world-class polo to the capital, the fast-paced, modern
day format of the polo makes one of the oldest equestrian sports easier for both newcomers and
