New sponsors for Ellerstina

The presentation of current title holders of the Argentine Polo Open, Ellerstina Etiqueta Negra, was held on 1st October in the presence of their sponsors for the 2009 season: Citi, La Bamba de Areco and Range Rover.
The four members of Ellerstina attended the event, where the team jerseys were also presented as well as the Range Rover Sport van, Ellerstina’s official vehicle which will be driven exclusively by the team members, Facundo Pieres, Pablo MacDonough, Gonzalo Pieres Jr. and Juan Martín Nero.
Juan Cahen D’Anvers, Vice President of Etiqueta Negra, talked about the expectations on the Argentine season: “We get together with Ellerstina as we share their style and values. It´s very important they won the Argentine Open last year, but it is even more important they they were close to win it since 2005 and they never gave up. The team spirit and discipline plus the talent of these players led them to achieve their goals”.
Meanwhile, Marcela Remoli, Citi Marketing Manager said: “We’re very enthusiastic to promote everything related to polo and we’re particulary proud of our partnership with such a team like Ellerstina”.
La Bamba de Areco is also a sponsor of Ellerstina. A club affiliated to the Argentine Polo Association, La Bamba has already two polo fields and the club’s relationship with Ellerstina comes through Gonzalo Jr. and Facundo, who played for La Bamba in England and won the Gold Cup for the British Open. Ellerstina’s tradition and excelence fits perfectly with this exclusive Estancia, that will maintain its support to the team during the high goal season.
