England to play Australia

HPA ANNOUNCE ENGLAND TEAM FOR


18 GOAL INTERNATIONAL


 


 


The Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) has announced an England team to play Australia in an 18 goal International on Sunday 29th March 2009, at the Windsor Polo Club in Australia.


 


The quartet, who will be looking to retain the Mountbatten Memorial Trophy that England won 7-6 in 2004 includes, Jamie Le Hardy (5 Goals), Ollie Cudmore (2 Goals), James Harper (6 Goals) and Sam Gairdner (5 Goals).


 


Jamie Le Hardy will captain the team. With experience at senior level he has represented England on a number of occasions, most recently when England beat Italy at Cowdray last September.


 


England will take on an Australian side that is to be announced from a squad of 7 players that includes, Jack Archibald (2 goals), Rob Archibald (6 goals), Jack Baillieu (7 goals), Glen Gilmore (7 goals), Ed Goold (4 goals), Kelvin Johnson (5 goals), and Jock Mackay (4 goals).
