La Aguada Tupungato Winelands faces a new challenge
La Aguada Tupungato Winelands was presented in a press conference held at Park Tower Hotel, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday September 16.
Team members Javier, Eduardo Jr., Miguel and Ignacio Novillo Astrada, accompanied by the representatives of their sponsors, spoke to the press about their expectations on the upcoming Argentine season. Their youngest brother, Alejandro, who also attended the event, will be the team substitute during the first tournament of the Triple Crown, the Tortugas Open. Alejandro will be playing the qualifiers for the Hurlingham Open and the Argentine Open, with El Paraiso, so the team’s second subsititute for the Triple Crown is Lucas James.
Representatives of the team’s sponsors also spoke to the press. Following this, each of them were presented by the Novillo Astrada brothers with a framed brand new La Aguada Tupungato Winelands team jersey.

La Aguada is the most recent winner of the Triple Crown – the fourth in history and the only comprised by four brothers. Together, they won the the three most important polo tournaments of the world – Tortugas Open, the Hurlingham Open and the Argentine Open, in 2003.
