2022 USPA NetJets Pacific Coast Open
SANTA BARBARA, CA. (August 21st, 2022) The culmination of the USPA NetJets Pacific
Coast Open nears, with this past weekend determining the semi-finalists. This tournament kept
players, fans, management, and all involved on their toes between game upsets, substitutions,
and overall amazing displays of polo.
Antelope made an impressive comeback, winning both their games this weekend, one against
L.I.N.Y., 12-11, and the second against BenSoleimani.com, 10-9. L.I.N.Y. came back to defeat
FMB 13-7 on Sunday, after losing to Antelope on Friday. FMB beat Klentner Ranch on Friday,
13-10. This left all five teams with a 2-2 record.
The competing teams all matched up against each other perfectly, resulting in a five-way tie. The
tension remained high as the 5 teams sent their sharpshooters to a five team penalty shoot-out.
When the dust settled from the shootout, BenSoleimani.com, L.I.N.Y, Klentner Ranch, and
Farmers and Merchants Bank advanced to the semifinals.
The PCO semi-finals take place on Friday August 28. The first semi-final will see L.I.N.Y.
versus BenSoleimani.com at 1 PM on Field 3. The second semi-final will take place on the main
field at 4 PM, during happy hour, between Klentner Ranch and Farmers and Merchants Bank.
The finals of the USPA NetJets Pacific Coast Open occurs on Sunday, August 28th and will
surely be a showdown you will not want to miss.
