Lechuza Caracas unstoppable at the Santa Maria Polo Club High Goal Gold Cup

 

Lechuza Caracas keeps the winning streak in the Santa Maria Polo Club Gold Cup and remains unbeaten also in the 46th International Polo Tournament. The team led by the 10 goaler, Juan Martín Nero defeated today Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada by 9 goals to 8. It was a great match, with Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada forcing Lechuza Caracas to play at a really high level to win the match.

“We are very happy, we won a very hard game that´s really important because qualifies us to the semifinals. And that is a plus because we will be able to manage the horses in the following matches looking forward to reach in perfect conditions to the final rounds of the tournament. Everything is very even in this Gold Cup, so how the horses are at this time of the tournament will be the clue to decide who will reach the final”. The Gold Cup Santa Maria Polo Club returns tomorrow with another attractive match. From 7 pm at Los Pinos field 3, La Indiana will face Dubai Polo Team.

 

Isolas 1892 Low Handicap Gold Cup 

La Clarita and Jolly Rogers remain undefeated in the Isolas 1892 Gold Cup after the second day of action was held this morning at Santa María Polo Club Puente de Hierro fields. La Clarita defeated La Mangosta by 10 goals to 9 while Jolly Rogers King of Polo achieved the victory against Sapphire in OT by 12 goals to 11. In the last match of the day, FCT Sotovila defeated Sardañola by 10 goals to 3. The Isolas 1892 Gold Cup will resume next Monday with another full action day.

 

Aerolíneas Argentinas Medium Goal Gold Cup 

The Aerolíneas Argentinas Gold Cup returns tomorrow to Los Pinos with a single match. From 6 pm, Sainte Mesme wil face Twenty 20 at Los Pinos field 1.

 

In this 46th edition of the Tournament more than 21 teams are taking part of the competition, with a large number of elite players, including four of the top 10 players in world polo ranking: Facundo Pieres, who will play with Ayala Polo Team; Juan Martín Nero and Pablo MacDonough, who will stand up for Brunei and Dubai Polo Teams, and the Uruguayan David Stirling. Besides polo matches, attendance, that´s free during almost all the season matches, has many leisure activities available: a varied gastronomy, Shopping Village, children’s area, bars, After Polo night parties.
