The ‘Horses in Art’ exhibition at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club

The ‘Horses in Art’ exhibition will be open the 7th June to the 11th July in the Bucking Horse Gallery at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club

A wide range of well known horse photographers, artists and sculptors will be displaying work at the exhibition so there will be something to appeal to every equine enthusiast. 

 

Exhibitors include horse sculptor Charlie Langton, renowned within the thoroughbred industry for his life-size bronze sculptors of famous race horses such as that of ‘Yeats’, displayed in the Ascot Racecourse parade ring. Langton will be exhibiting equine studies in bronze alongside wildlife sculptor Elliott Channer who also makes beautiful sculptures that are visually capturing.

 

Well known within the polo world for producing commissions of exquisite polo scenes as well as horses and people portraits, Irish artist Eddie Kennedy has a couple of new exciting pieces that have been created especially for the Bucking Horse Gallery event.

 

Alongside the sculpture and art work there will stunning work by several polo and equine photographers. Well known within polo as the official photographer to Guards Polo Club,  photographer Tony Ramirez of Images of Polo with Abi Hancock will be exhibiting examples of their new PoloArt range alongside the RCBPC based equine and polo photographer Gillian Hughes, who also specialises in polo equine portraits, with her signature images of ponies posed in front of black backdrops.

 

Two Fine Art Equine photographers David Sinclair and Alice Gipps will also be exhibiting some of their best pieces at the show. David Sinclair, an incredibly talented art photographer, captures breath taking equine images from around the world while Alice Gipps, who has also had her polo photography published world wide, combines her artistic talent with the knowledge of horses to create beautiful Fine Art images that capture the essence of the horse and captivate the viewer.
