On Tuesday 6/10, the 86th Tortugas Country Club Galicia Open presented by Visa began on court 4 of the local club, with the Emilio de Anchorena Cup at stake.
In Zone A, La Ensenada GreenArmor beat Don Ercole Larrainvial 17-13 (Lucas Criado (h) and Mariano González (h) started in place of Facundo Llosa and Kristos Magrini, who were injured) .
It was an extremely close match, in which Don Ercole struck first, thanks to the excellent play of Brazilian Pedrinho Zacharias and the effectiveness of Peke González in the early chukkers. Ensenada only found their rhythm in the fourth chukker, when Jero del Carril and Diego Cavanagh, the two best players of the match, came into their own.
From there the match became back and forth and although Don Ercole continued to fight valiantly until the last quarter, La Ensenada showed great strength in the final period and achieved a hard-fought victory.

In the closing of the first day of the 86th Tortugas Country Club Galicia Open presented by Visa, in which the Emilio de Anchorena Cup is at stake, on Tuesday 6/10 on field 5 of the local club, Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufú defeated La Zeta Kazak by 18 to 10 , in what was the duel of Pieres brothers: Facu and Gonza on one side and Nico on the other.
The duel between brothers went to the older ones, who with a great game from Facu Pieres – author of 10 goals – and Antonio Heguy, who is noticeably better and more established in the team’s structure every day, Ellerstina Chapa built a great victory, despite the fight put up by La Zeta, whose best value on the day was Lorenzo Chavanne.
